The vicinity of Cortona provides a wide range of shopping experience.

Thursday morning is the extensive street market in Camucia with clothes, shoes, household and food stalls.  A smaller version of this market is also in Cortona on a Saturday morning.

Cortona has high quality clothing (including a shop of clothes that are hand made from hand died and printed materials). There are also a wide range of galleries ranging from paintings, sculpture, ceramics, and photography. You will also find several interesting antique shops.

20 minutes away at Bettolle there is the Valdichiana Outlet Village  where you can buy amazing Italian designer clothes and homewear in a very attractive setting and at bargain prices!

Wherever you go you are bound to be enticed into the Italian food shops selling wonderful pastas (try pici - the tasty local pasta variety) cheeses, proscuito and of course wine!  Montepulciano is the best place to go wine tasting at the dozens of cellars in the central town.
